Henry Cohen (1933- ) was born in Brooklyn, New York. He was an assistant professor of history at California State College at Long Beach (1964-69), assistant professor (1969-71), then associate professor of history at Loyola University in Chicago. The collection consists of correspondence, memos, notes, clippings, court records, transcripts, photographs, and typescripts related to and arising from investigations of civil liberties violations in Long Beach, California.
